Cooking Quinoa

With a 1:2 ratio, place 1 cup uncooked quinoa into a pot and add 2 cups water.

Cover and place on a burner at high heat. It will start to bubble and the lid will dance, so decrease the heat to about 75% (midway between high and medium). Do not stir . Cook ~15 minutes or until all liquid is gone. Check this by take a spoon and pushing inwards from the side of the pot to see if any water remains on the bottom.
